Always Lalisa in Helios on Stage

Always Lalisa is a feature-length documentary showing LISA at a pivotal moment in her life and career outside BLACKPINK, the K-pop band that gave her worldwide popularity. When the group takes a break, LISA takes her first steps as a solo artist and tries to find her own way. The film accompanies her as she works on her debut solo album Alter Ego from writing and recording songs to its release. We also get a behind-the-scenes look at her acting debut in the third season of The White Lotus and the preparations for her first major solo performance at Coachella in 2025. Born and raised in Thailand, LISA left her family home at the age of fourteen to start a demanding workout in South Korea and enter the world of K-pop. A few years later, she was already one of the biggest stars of the genre. Now, building her own career, also outside of Korea, she has to find herself in a completely new situation with more media attention, new expectations and responsibility for how she wants to be seen as an artist. Always Lalisa is a personal record of a year full of changes, new experiences and important decisions.
