Amadeus Live

After the great success of the Warsaw and Wroclaw shows, the superproduction Amadeus Live returns to Poland.

The sale of tickets for the unique shows of Amadeus Miloš Forman with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra and the Polish Radio Choir — Lusławice under the baton of the outstanding Dutch conductor, Ernst van Tiel, has started. Already now it is possible to plan a trip to 18th century Vienna together with the genius of the insolent Mozart and mortally jealous of his talent, Salierim.

Amadeus is a film-opera, a heavenly celebration of the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with impressive pomp. The timeless tale of the clash of two composers: a cheerful, vulgar genius (Tom Hulce as Mozart) and a haughty, untalented jealous (F. Murray Abraham as Salieri) was honored with the Oscars for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Set Design, Costumes, Characterization and Sound. Thus, Amadeus became one of the most acclaimed films of the 20th century and cemented Forman's status as one of the most prominent European and Hollywood directors.

The evening itself is a tribute to a famous work that will seduce not only music lovers and lovers of classical music, but also all viewers who love cinema and want to participate in a unique celebration of the masterpiece appearing in countless lists of films of all time.

Gdańsk/Sopot will join the elite group of cities (including London, Tokyo, Toronto, Seoul, Paris), where this unique spectacle is shown.
