Irish trio Amble has evolved in just a few years from small pub scenes in the west of Ireland to one of the most talked-about new names on the international folk scene. Now Robbie Cunningham, Ross McNerney and Oisin McCaffrey announce their biggest European headline-tour to date, with 17 concerts across the continent in February and March 2027.
Amble's particular blend of contemporary Irish folk, strong melodies and intimate narratives has made them a band with a rare connection to their audience. With organic acoustic arrangements, warm harmonies and lyrics characterized by nostalgia, longing and everyday realism, the trio creates a sonic universe that feels both timeless and personal.
2025 was a breakthrough year for Amble. The band toured US arenas with Hozier, selling over 130,000 headline tickets and rounding out more than 151 million global streams. At the same time, they released their debut album “Reverie”, which went straight in as the best-selling album in Ireland and became the most streamed album of the year on Spotify in their home country. The release was hailed by media outlets such as NPR, Rolling Stone and Stereogum and cemented Amble as one of the strongest new names in contemporary folk music. Songs such as “Lonely Island”, “Mary's Pub” and “Schoolyard Days” have helped build the band's rapidly growing fanbase worldwide, while more recent singles such as “Moral Victory” and “The Rarest Hour” show a more pensive and poetic side of the trio.
