AMC Trio (SK) feat. John Daversa (VS)

AMC Trio is a Slovak piano trio. Although it is indeed a Slovak trio, it is not always true that it is always a piano trio, and often it is not even a trio... In any case, it is true that this is a group of three musicians with the best connections in the world of jazz: Randy Brecker, Philip Catherine, Bill Evans, Ulf Wakenius, Mark Whitfield, Michael “Patches” Stewart and many others have joined forces with the AMC Trio as special guests at their concerts or as collaborators in the studio. This amazing band, which built their musical foundation in mainstream jazz, has been around for about twenty years. They will play for the third time at the Sącz Jazz Festival, this time with an American trumpeter who also plays on EVI, a multiple Grammy Award winner, nominated for an Emmy Award. John Davers (USA) is known worldwide for his dynamic and emotional style of play, as well as for his imagination that crosses genre boundaries in compositions and arrangements.
