We invite you to Andre Rieu's jubilee show entitled “Long live Maastricht!” This is a joyful tribute to the artist's hometown. 20 years ago André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra performed for the first time at the Vrijthof. The medieval square then turned into a gleaming open-air ballroom.
The audience will be treated to a screening full of waltzes and marches by Johann Strauss father and son, as well as songs from the famous musicals “My Fair Lady” or “Miserables”, as well as other hits, such as Ennia Morricone's “Gabriel Oboe” from the film “Mission”.
For Polish viewers, the retransmission will be conducted as usual by Maja Jasińska, who is not only a flute player in the Johann Strauss Orchestra.
