ANDREA BOCELLI - Romanza World Tour 2027
The greatest tenor of our time is finally returning to European stages in 2027: Maestro Andrea Bocelli goes with the “Romanza World Tour — Celebrating 30 Years of Romanza. A Timeless Journey of Music and Emotions” on a big world tour and is celebrating an extraordinary career anniversary. He has a special, life-changing story with Germany, which decisively shaped his career.
Advance sales for the “Romanza World Tour” start on October 1 at 10 a.m. at all well-known ticket offices.
With around 90 million records sold worldwide and more than 20 billion streams, Maestro Andrea Bocelli is one of the most successful and internationally popular artists of our time. His music connects and touches generations and crosses borders — from classical music and opera to pop and timeless ballads.
The tour focuses on “Romanza” — the album with the hits that made Andrea Bocelli a worldwide star 30 years ago and is still one of the most successful Italian-language albums of all time. The star tenor has a special connection to Germany: In 1996, his appearance at Henry Maske's farewell boxing match made him a superstar overnight. The song “Con te partirò” from “Romanza” became world-famous in the English-German mixed version “Time to Say Goodbye”, which Bocelli sang together with Sarah Brightman.
Bocelli is still closely associated with the former German boxing world champion and says: “Everything changed after that. Henry Maske was a real stroke of luck for me. If he hadn't opted for this song back then, my career would probably have been completely different. “Con te partirò” is Bocelli's best-selling single to this day.
This extraordinary career began with victory at the Sanremo Festival in 1993. Andrea Bocelli became a living legend with songs such as “Miserere”, which he recorded together with Italian rock singer Zucchero, as well as through important opera productions such as “Manon Lescaut”, “Turandot” and “Otello”. Bocelli then wrote music history: his album “Sì” simultaneously reached number 1 in the album charts in Great Britain and the USA — a success that no Italian artist had achieved before.
In his career spanning more than three decades, Andrea Bocelli impressed with sold-out arena concerts, record-breaking live streams and legendary performances at the most important events in contemporary history, such as the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics or the FIFA World Cup 2026. For his artistic work, he has received a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRIT Awards and seven World Music Awards, among others. Maestro Andrea Bocelli also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
With the “Romanza World Tour”, Andrea Bocelli relies on AEG Presents and his long-standing live partner the Leutgeb Entertainment Group, who, after 15 years as organizer of Andrea Bocelli in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, has now brought Semmel Concerts Entertainment GmbH on board as a partner. The aim is to present a positive alliance and thus create the basis for a successful joint future and long-term cooperation in the industry.
Under the motto “Celebrating 30 Years of Romanza. A Timeless Journey of Music and Emotions”, Bocelli celebrates the most important milestones of his unique world career and promises an unforgettable concert experience: great emotions, timeless melodies and the unmistakable voice of an artist who has touched people all over the world for 30 years.
