Andrzej Titkov in Illusion

“The relationship with another person that I establish while making a film is a kind of gift from fate. People are different and this is the source of all creativity, because it is beautiful to be different,” said Andrzej Titkov about his work. In several dozen films he directed, he looked closely at recognized creators of Polish culture, but also talked about universal issues.

In the Iluzjon cinema on 24 October we will again present on the big screen the most important works of one of the most outstanding Polish documentarians. At 18:00 we invite you to a set of short documents in which we will see, among others, Agnieszka Osiecka, Marek Hłaska and Tadeusz Konwicki. After the films, Andrzej Titkov himself will tell about his directorial journey during a meeting hosted by Mateusz Demski.

However, this will not end our evening. Although Andrzej Titkow entered the history of Polish cinema primarily as a documentary filmmaker, in Iluzjon we will also show the feature film “Reflected Light” directed by him.

Spectators who will come to the show at 18:00 and meet with the director are waiting for a gift. We will distribute DVDs with the most important films of Andrzej Titkow and the elaboration of Tadeusz Sobolewski.
