Two days after Independence Day, in the Year of Andrzej Wajda, we show his most famous film — “Ash and Diamond”.
May 8, 1945, the last night of the war. In a small town, they celebrate victory, while a young soldier of the Home Army must decide - to follow the order or finally start living? This is a film about a generation that survived the war and did not know what to do with their recovered peace. Zbigniew Cybulski created a role in it, which went to legend.
Organizer: Cinema of the Future Foundation. Partner: Cultural Center in Piaseczno.
The task “DISTRICT CINEMA — workshops, screenings and audiovisual heritage of the Piaseczyn County” is implemented thanks to co-financing from the budget of the Piaseczyn County.
