ANNA OF THE GREEN HILL

Anne of Green Hill recounts the adventures of Anna Shirley, a red-haired girl who arrives from an orphanage in Avonlea under the care of her Cuthbert siblings Maryla and Matthew. It quickly turns out that there was a mistake, because the Cuthberts were expecting a boy... Thanks to the natural charm that Anna has around them, Maryla and Mateusz decide to keep her forever.

Anna, with her unusual character, spontaneity, openness and freedom in expressing her thoughts, quickly wins the love and friendship of both the inhabitants of the small town and her schoolmates. It softens not only the cold and raw Maryla's heart, but also the haughty Mrs. Linde. In the talkative Matthew, he finds his soul mate. He becomes friends with Diana, his peer, and over time begins to notice Gilbert crushed in her, a sullen boyfriend who maliciously calls her “carrot”...
