Interactive animation

What happens when animation ceases to be just an image to be viewed and becomes a space for action and co-creation?

During the lecture by Dr. Miłosz Margański, we will look at different forms of interactive animation and the tools used to create engaging audiovisual experiences. The starting point will be examples of projects that use moving image in an interactive way, from forms inspired by computer games, through interactive installations, to mapping and VJ activities.

The meeting will be an opportunity to learn about contemporary ways of storytelling with images, in which the recipient is not only a spectator, but becomes an active participant in the experience.

The event is part of the Animation Forge. The lecture is aimed at people over 16 years of age interested in the art of animation, students of artistic disciplines, novice creators and all those who want to develop their creative and technological competences. The lectures are part of the Animation Forge program organized as part of the project “Development of cultural activity of Estrada Poznańska — reconstruction of buildings with purchase of equipment”, which is implemented in Poznań as part of the Programme European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment 2021-2027.
