Arnulf Rating The annual press review 2026

For decades, Arnulf Rating has been at the cutting edge with its cabaret. Based on media headlines, he picks apart current events. Now he's putting together the top news from 2026 in one show at the end of the year. Rating inimitably serves exquisite delicacies from the media jungle's cabinet of curiosities. With polished words and great pleasure, the stink is released from media filter bubbles. A pointed look back at prominent embarrassments. And what really went wrong. The ultimate press review.

For laughs. To cry. It's surprising. Liberating. Refreshing!

With speed and high entertainment value, one of the country's longest-serving sharp tongues shines here. The last of the legendary 3 tornadoes to be on stage. His scale is the same as when it came to tornadoes back then. Conversation with attitude. The claim remains: to release people from the theatre with expanded consciousness and downstairs with wet pants.

About Arnulf Rating: Born in Mülheim in 1951, has lived in Berlin since 1972; has written cabaret history since 1977 with the “3 Tornadoes”, after unity from 1990 with the “Reichspolterabend” and in the new millennium with the annual “Political Ash Wednesday Berlin.” In addition to numerous cabaret programs, he is active as an organizer (International Word Art Festival “Maulhelden”), including revue programs such as “Der Blaue Montag”. He is also active online with the “Tagesschauer.” However, his passion is lively action on stage. When he starts the projection, opens his suitcase full of newspapers and fires his volleys at the audience with ridiculous cascades of words, it's clear: The oldest rating agency in Germany is mercilessly hitting again.

Arnulf Rating is married and has three grown children.

“The rating, the long blonde, pay attention to him when he performs, he can tear every nightgown with ecstasy, I've never experienced anything like that! Unbelievable! “(Wolfgang Neuss)

“Even many years after the 3 tornadoes, RATING is still one of the best mockers we have in this country.” (Donau Kurier)
