Artillerie

Artillery was formed in Taastrup in 1982 and is one of Denmark's most prominent thrash metal bands. The early demos garnered them international attention and their debut album 'Fear of Tomorrow' was followed by 'Terror Squad', cementing their reputation in the metal scene. After 'By Inheritance' in 1990, the band temporarily disbanded, but rejoined in the late 90s.

Artillery has since released a number of critically acclaimed albums and toured worldwide. Despite several crew replacements, they have retained an aggressive, technical style that mixes fast riffs with melodic elements, and they are today considered pioneers of European thrash metal.
