Artur Dutkiewicz Trio/Andrzej Wąsik Visual Nowosielski Audiovisual

In the new project of pianist and composer Artur Dutkiewicz “NOWOSIELSKI Audiovisual”, the paintings of Jerzy Nowosielski, one of the most outstanding Polish painters of the 20th century, are the inspiration for the presentation of spatial works combining jazz with elements of classical and contemporary music, composed by Artur Dutkiewicz under the influence of the works of such masters as Hildegard from Bal Ingen, Arvo Part, Komitas, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.

During the concerts, collages of Jerzy Nowosielski's paintings, created “live” by the visual artist Andrzej Wąsik, are displayed, synchronized with sound, presented in the form of large-format video projections.

Jerzy Nowosielski's art combines the sacred and profane of the East and the West, similarly Artur Dutkiewicz's compositions draw from the traditions of the East and the West. The combination of Jerzy Nowosielski's works with the music of Artur Dutkiewicz creates a unique audiovisual mystery.

The concert has been presented so far in concert halls, museums, cinemas, theaters, philharmonics, open-air venues of a dozen cities in Poland.
