The Ashes of Billy

Forward-looking Ashes of Billy blows Big VEGA backwards

Tomorrow's newest and youngest rock hope, Ashes of Billy, has stormed onto the Danish music scene. With concerts across the country, support jobs for prominent names such as Siamese and Psyched Up Janis, and a sold-out Little Vega concert, their careers are in earnest in 2025. And they continue their stellar course in 2026.

For December 10, the three young boys are playing at Store VEGA, and audiences can therefore look forward to being blown backwards by their high-energy fusion of grunge, skaterpunk and classic rock.

Ashes of Billy has caught the attention of critics at home, and GAFFA in particular has opened its eyes to the three young musicians who have recently predicted that Ashes of Billy will be a big name in 2026. And there is some evidence that the Danish music media is right. For the tickets for the band's spring tour are going like hot bread, to say the least. An impressive ticket sale that has got the band to the keys with the message: “tickets go fast — hurry up to get your ticket now”.

GAFFA also reviewed the band's performance at last year's COPENHELL with four stars and lines such as: “Huge respect to Ashes of Billy, and huge congratulations on their raucous debut of a rock fest at Copenhell.”

Ashes of Billy's debut EP, Playdate, landed in 2022, and since then two EPs have been released: The Right Place from 2023 and Obsene from 2024, as well as the single “Rediscover”, which saw the light of day in August 2025.
