The idea is inspired by the 18th century art salons, which were important centers of cultural life, bringing together creators, critics and art recipients in the homes of aristocrats or wealthy townspeople. Their function was not only to discuss literature and art, but also to break down social barriers and promote the development of ideas, especially in the spirit of the Enlightenment.

Atrium Aretés is created by Val Ziółko and Michał Złotkiewicz in collaboration with Galeria Labirynt.
