Surdo — bass drum

Caixa — snare drum

Repinique — lead drum

Tamborim — small drum

Agogô — metal bells

Chocalho — percussion rattle

Ganzá — shaker /cylindrical ratchet

Cuíca — friction drum

Timbal — high hand drum

Pandeiro — Brazilian tambourine

Reco-reco — scraped instrument

Apito — the whistle of the conductor/conductor

· Classical percussion instruments: Marimba, vibraphone, drum set, handpan

We invite children and young people to a unique school/percussion program at the Podkarpackie Philharmonic! 🎶

Soon we will meet on an unusual musical journey called “Latin American and Marching Rhythms”.

It will be a meeting full of energy and emotion with rhythm, during which young listeners will learn about the colorful world of Latin American music and the power and character of marching rhythms. There will be interesting sounds, musical inspiration and a concert atmosphere that will allow you to discover how fascinating the world of drums and rhythm can be.

We cordially invite children, young people and teachers to participate together in this unique musical event at the Podkarpackie Philharmonic!
