The Celts inhabited theareas of modern Poland long before the birth of Christ. Following the international successes and listening to the stylish sound of the Shannon group, one would think that they had never left this corner of Europe. The work of the band, which gives hundreds of concerts every year throughout Europe (the rarest probably in Poland), is considered by connoisseurs of Irish and, more broadly, Celtic music, to be one of the most interesting proposals of its modernized sound today. Where is Rome and where is Crimea — you may ask. Where is Dublin and where is Katowice? Well, Celtic roots have a lot of American genres, and thus — contemporary popular music.
