Made from plants! Make colors

Which colors can be produced from plants? What kind of colors do you find on paintings in the museum? At Haus Bastian, you will research the production and composition of paints and learn how to obtain dyes from plants. You make colors yourself and try them out. In the Old National Gallery, turn your attention to colors and observe which are the most common. You paint, collage and take home color recipes. Please bring small glasses for your colors.

Participation fee including admission: 15€ per family (2 people), 20€ per family (from 3 people)

Limited number of participants. Online booking required. Remaining tickets are available at the James Simon Gallery ticket office. The family ticket entitles you to visit the museums on Museum Island on the same day. The entrance ticket to the museums can be obtained at the museum ticket offices upon presentation of the participation ticket for the family workshop.
