In the next installment of the series of presentations related to the 50th anniversary of artistic activity, Janusz Popławski presents a set of self-portraits made until 2026. In addition to oil, he most often used drawing techniques, his favorite pencil, crayons or dry pastel. Janusz Popławski (born 1948) graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Warsaw in Toruń, graduated in 1975 in the workshop graphics studio of Prof. Edmund Piotrowicz. He obtained the title of Doctor of Art in Graphic Arts at the UMCS in Lublin in 2003. In the years 2010-2015 he was a lecturer in graphics and drawing at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Techniques in Warsaw. Creativity in the field of drawing, painting, workshop and applied graphics and satirical drawing. In the years 2002-2005, he served as Vice President for Artistic Affairs in the Main Board of the ZPAP in Warsaw. Among the decorations: ZPAP Gold Badge, Meritorious for Polish Culture.
