“Crazy and Flawlessly Funny” - Time Out
Ash (Bruce Campbell in his iconic role) and his girlfriend Linda stop in an abandoned forest hut. There they find the book of the dead (Necronomicon) and a tape with a recorded speech by an archaeology professor who utters a spell on it to awaken evil dormant in the forest. Evil powers possess the girl, and Ash must defend himself... A bloody slaughter begins, which scares as much as it is funny.
The most important question: Is it possible to watch the second part without watching the first? You can and even need to - because “Dead Evil 2" is a remake and reboot of the first part, but with a larger budget and more black humor.
