AVATAR

In strange times, an equally unobvious team is needed. Avatar, faithful for years to the aesthetics of outsiders and artistic outcasts, once again plunges deep into the collective subconscious. The Swedish formation transcends the limits of the corporeal and does not cease to venture deeper and deeper into the darkness — where chaos begins to take on meaning.

With his characteristic courage, Avatar looks at the most disturbing, almost shapeless landscapes of the human interior. And he does so with perverse lightness, taking genuine pleasure in exploring the unobvious, the dark, and elusive of simple definitions.

AVATAR's tour in 2026 will cover the whole of Europe — from frosty Scandinavia to the central regions of the continent, including Poland. The Swedish formation will present their latest stage show, combining metal energy with theatrical setting and polished production like we have not seen before. With a repertoire spanning both old and new tracks, AVATAR will show itself in a whole new light, playing some of the biggest gigs of its 25-year career.

“We are addicted to metal!” “says our Swedish master of ceremonies, Johannes Eckerström. “Despite all the recognition we've gotten for our performances on stage, we still feel like we're just getting started. This tour is meant to break all records and push the boundaries of our travels so far. It's not just about size — everything has to be better than ever before. This is what we live for, and we guarantee it to you!” The journey will begin in the summer when AVATAR will embark on sixteen shows alongside metal legends, Iron Maiden.
