Teenage half-British girl Elena is still searching for her own identity. Her background made her a victim of bullying at her previous school. Therefore, she fearfully stands on the threshold of a new class, although here the target of peer aggression is Nyan - hidden in a corner behind a veil of black hair, eternally staring at her smartphone, with headphones pressed into her ears. When Elena accidentally comes into possession of her phone, she discovers the reason for the girl's behavior and herself finds herself in mortal danger. The curse, which is carried by technology, is the motive that made Japan the capital of world horror three decades ago. Masaki Nishiyama proves that it is still possible to look at him with a fresh eye, and his film leads to surprisingly mature conclusions about Japanese society.

Japanese with English subtitles.
