SCREENING + Q&A WITH MARK REEDER/Other
Come along to the screening of B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West-Berlin 1979-1989 with a Q&A with Mark Reeder on October 11 at the Flea!
Music, art and chaos in wild West Berlin in the 1980s. The walled city became a creative melting pot for sub- and pop culture. Before the Iron Curtain fell, everything and nothing seemed to be possible. B-MOVIE is a fast-paced collage of mostly previously undisclosed film and television footage from a frenetic but creative decade -- from punk to the Love Parade -- in a city where the days are short and the nights are endless. Here it was not about long-term success, but about living in the moment -- here and now.
