About the event

Attention! Action: Moving! Packing! Cleaning! Travel! Finally, a new apartment! Uff. But... what now? Somehow strange and empty. Just boxes everywhere. Where's our house?

BAAACH show! is about building relationships in a world that is dynamically changing and sometimes falling apart: baaah! How to rearrange it? How to build a sense of security? And how do you settle into a completely new reality? BLAH! says that anything is possible... with closeness, love and trust.

The main inspirations of the creators of the play are the theater of form and the theater of the subject, accompanied by classical music. Minimalist scenography composed of boxes hides surprises and worlds, discovered by the two protagonists during the performance.

BLAH! engages in dialogue with both the youngest viewers and the adults close to them. It can be read at different levels depending on the age and experience of the audience. This is another performance by artists known to the audience of the Wrocław Puppet Theater from “Kulki” and “Kęcipupy” .Description of the performance in simple textA performance for the youngest spectators inspired by the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. The protagonists are a woman and a man who together discover the space around them before the eyes of the spectators. The stage is filled with boxes of different sizes. This cardboard set design moves and changes throughout the show. This is due to the actions of the actors or an invisible force. Heroes respond to these changes. They rearrange the boxes, hide in them, arrange various structures from them, and finally build a common house. The performance is played without words. Sound, light and movement are important. They reflect the emotions of the characters, give rhythm to the performance and set the mood. The music of Jan Sebastian Bach can be heard in vocal performance (voices instead of instruments) .BAAACH! is about building relationships, closeness and a sense of security in a changing world.

Co-production of WTL and Lale.Teatr Foundation

Performance realized with the funds of the National Reconstruction Plan
