Baby lasagna

After two years of meteoric rise — from a breakthrough at the ESC and worldwide virality to the debut album “DMNS & MOSQUITOES” and a sold-out European tour — Baby Lasagna is beginning a new era.

The Croatian singer with the real name Marko Purišić was born in 1995 in the small town of Umag. Although he actually wanted to follow in his mother's footsteps and become a teacher, he was always interested in music. During his studies, he was a guitarist for the rock band Manntra, which tried their luck in the Croatian preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019. But the musician wanted to express himself artistically without having to comply with strict genre limits. In 2023, he therefore launched his solo project with Baby Lasagna, with which he combined pop punk, techno and metal with playful ease. In 2024, he won the Croatian ESC preliminary round with the song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”. With its special mix of eccentricity, humor and accessibility, the song was perfect for this very special competition: Baby Lasagna received by far the most fan votes and ended up in second place — Croatia's best position ever. But the Croat did not rest on these successes. Just shortly after the brilliant performance, he sold out three stadium shows in Croatia, released his debut album “DMNS & MOSQUITOES” and played a European tour.

Almost two years have passed and Baby Lasagna is back: With the single “End The Party”, he starts a new chapter in his career. The song marks a return to its original identity with a clear alternative sound. The lyrics are an introspective examination of his own mental state and his relationship to success — while maintaining his characteristic self-irony. In autumn 2026, Baby Lasagna will release his second studio album and once again embark on an extended tour through Europe. In doing so, he comes to Germany four times.
