Tilbake til Amy Show

20 years since the release of the groundbreaking album Back To Black! It was at this symbolic moment that a project was created that goes far beyond the formula of a classic tribute concert.

Back to Amy is a directed musical show created out of love for the artist who changed modern music forever.

Operafixe Art Agency is responsible for the organisation and production of events. The stage will feature Sabina Karwala — an actress and singer endowed with an extremely characteristic, dark tone of voice, recognized as one of the most expressive interpreters of Amy Winehouse's repertoire in Poland. The artist will be accompanied by musicians from The Black Band under the direction of the great pianist, composer and arranger Adam Jarzmik.

Characteristic neon Back to Amy, red carpets building an intimate space for musicians, original stage costume, light, narration and carefully graded emotions will make the concert a full-scale stage experience. Musically, the project goes much deeper than Winehouse's repertoire itself. Alongside her greatest works, we'll also hear inspirations from artists Amy loved and admired and those she has had a huge impact on herself — from Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald to contemporary RAYE. The whole will be completed by unique arrangements by Adam Jarzmik.
