BACK TO AMY SHOW

SABINA KARWALA & THE BLACK ORCHESTRA

This is not another tribute concert. It is a musical show inspired by the work of one of the most emblematic artists of the 21st century - Amy Winehouse.

BACK TO AMY was born out of her fascination with her music, voice and artistic uncompromisingness.

On March 5, 2027 at the Chorzów Cultural Center, BACK TO AMY will sound for the first time in an extended format with the participation of the wonderful soloists OF THE BLACK ORCHESTRA. Live instruments, elaborate arrangements, distinctive sounds of jazz, soul and R&B and a stage story will create an even fuller and more multidimensional experience.

On stage SABINA KARWALA - an actress and singer with an extremely characteristic, dark tone of voice, for whom the work of Amy Winehouse was one of the most important impulses to start the musical path.

BACK TO AMY's repertoire goes further than Winehouse's greatest hits. Alongside her works are compositions by artists Amy loved, inspired by and inspired by herself — from Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald to contemporary RAYE.

ADAM JARZMIK is responsible for the arrangements and musical direction — pianist, composer and arranger, whose musical vision gives the project its own multidimensional character.

Light, scenography and stage narration complete the show, which does not attempt to copy Amy Winehouse — but tells the story of her music in her own language.
