{Background Check} #15 — Meeting with TEN Studio (CH/RS)

{Background Check} is informal, intimate meetings around architecture — guest lecture+short Q&A and conversation. We invite studios outside the mainstream. We are interested in bold voices and topics less common in industry discourse.

The focus of our meetings is to design in the context of contemporary challenges: shrinking planetary resources, the carbon footprint of the construction industry and its impact on the climate catastrophe. We wonder if it is possible to build in another, less harmful, way.

On December 10, representatives of TEN Studio — a hybrid architectural association, comprising a non-profit institute, a joint-stock company and an informal collective exploring new formats of mutual cooperation, will tell about their work.

The meeting will not be recorded or broadcast, because we want to have a frank conversation and be heard.
