Bagworm | Splat! FilmFest

Carroll, a lone hammer salesman, hates women, his life and himself. When it gets on the nail, a small wound turns into a nasty infection. The foot begins to rot, and Carroll increasingly loses touch with reality. Is it a fever or is the world around it really falling apart? “Bagworm” combines repulsive body horror with black comedy and drama about loneliness, plunging the viewer into the physical and mental collapse of a bitter man. Peter Falls' absurd humor and daring role make it difficult, even in the midst of sweat, mold and bodily fluids, to take your eyes off the protagonist — and decide whether he deserves more contempt or sympathy.
