About the event

We invite you to Fairytale Film Meetings — a series of screenings aimed at the youngest viewers.

We are planning a trip to the land of somewhat forgotten, but still magical and valuable animations that have accompanied the childhood of many generations.

“Plastic Diary”, dir. Leszek Lorek, 1962, duration: 7.11 min.

“Plastuś na campagna”, dir. Edward Wątor, 1963, duration: 7,00 min.

and

Bolek and Lolek set off into the world:

“Gran Premio Argentina”, directed by Wacław Wajser, 1969, duration: 9.47 min.

“Tomb of the Pharaoh”, directed by Zdzisław Kudła, 1970, duration: 10.18 min.

“Buffalo Hunters”, directed by Władysław Nehrebecki, 1970, duration: 9.38 min.

We invite you to watch stories about the adventures of a little plasticine man — Plastusia, made by student Tosia. Plastuś lives in her pencil case and watches school adventures. The realities of the world depicted in “Plastusiov's diary” have changed so much that it would seem that they never existed. After all, there are no more wooden pencil cases, and in children's satchels there are more colorful, lighter, more comfortable things... Will the charm of Plastusi and his friends still work on today's small audience?

“Plastusiowy” diary is a children's story written by Maria Kownacka, which first appeared in “Płomyczek” in 1931 and was the inspiration for a series of animated films directed by Zofia Ołdak, shown by Polish Television in the 1980s.

We will also show three episodes from the series “Bolek and Lolek set off into the world”. We invite you!
