New York, 1943. War changes the world, but on one of the floors of New York, life goes on its own rhythm. In an apartment full of random guests, undrunk glasses, abandoned suitcases and unfulfilled plans, a young shy writer appears. He does not know that the girl he met that day will remain in his memory forever. “Miss Holly” is an author's story inspired by the world created by Truman Capote in Breakfast at Tiffany's. However, this is not an adaptation of a well-known story, but a literary fantasy about what the first meeting of a future writer with a woman who will later become one of his most famous heroines could have looked like. Holly is elusive. Brilliant, funny and unpredictable. He can make people fall in love with himself, only to disappear in a moment without saying goodbye. She dreams of a big world, escapes from the past and is constantly looking for a place to call home. A young aspiring writer, he tries to understand her. Is it possible when dealing with someone who looks more like a wild bird than a human? “Miss Holly” is a story about freedom and the price you have to pay for it. A friendship born out of the blue. About love that does not always come at the right time and about the fact that some people can only be met for a moment, but this moment can change a whole life.
