Maternity event

This Thursday morning Sundby Library has invited lifeguard John Petersen to an exciting and educational morning in Kvarterhuset.

In this course Baby and Care, among other things, will be reviewed:

Home safety, what can we do to ensure that our baby does not go wrong? How much can we prevent and what if our baby gets hurt?

Blocking the airways when we switch from liquid diet to porridge, the little baby has a hard time swallowing the porridge. What should we do to help?

And when we switch from porridge to solid food, our baby gets into the same problems. What should we do to help. These things are practiced on baby dolls, which are made specifically for this purpose.

Illnesses/febrile convulsions, what do we do to help the little baby.

Foreign objects/flowers/beads in ear, nose and what about foreign objects in the eyes. Burns and scalds, at what temperature can we scald our child?

Chemicals, dish soap, toilet cleaner, dishwashing detergent, fabric softener, perfume, relaxant — What do we do if our baby may have eaten or drunk something? What about pills? And what if it was mushrooms, flower bulbs, flower petals, berries from the hedge -- Is it poisonous or is it not poisonous -- and how can we find out?

What do we do about dents -- may we put a cold cloth on a bump in the forehead

What is a concussion and how can we find out on a baby?

What do we do about nosebleeds and what about tooth damage (milk teeth or dying teeth)

John is the proprietor of and instructor of Simple First Aid. John has more than 20 years of experience in lifesaving first aid and fire fighting. In addition, John has 24 years of experience from the ambulance world.

John is a passionate and passionate instructor who easily adapts to the target audience, both adults and young children.

The ticket is non-refundable or postponed to another day.

The event is part of the library's regular maternity mornings. It costs 75 DKK per adult to attend, and the ticket can be purchased on the site here.

If you do not want to participate in the baby workshop, as always on Thursday morning there is an opportunity to play and have fun with your baby in the Flexrum on the 2nd floor.
