Colors of Independence - concert of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Siedlce Land “Chodowiacy” named after Alicja Siwkiewicz

The City Cultural Center in Siedlce cordially invites you to a festive concert entitled “Colors of Independence” performed by Alicja Siwkiewicz Song and Dance Ensemble of the Siedlce Land “Chodowiacy”. The event is part of the local celebration of National Independence Day.

The program of the show is a unique, colorful journey through Polish tradition and history. On stage we will see spectacular Polish national dances presented in stunning regional and historical costumes.

We will also hear the most famous songs related to the struggle for the independence of the Polish state, including such songs as “Legions” (“The First Brigade”) or “Przyułani pod okienko”. Each spectator will receive a songbook with the lyrics of patriotic songs, thanks to which the entire “Podlasie” hall will be able to unite in a common, loud singing.

The Siedlce Land Song and Dance Ensemble “Chodowiacy” named after Alicja Siwkiewicz will perform on the stage — a cultural showcase of Siedlec and the whole region. The group has been cultivating the traditions of Polish folklore for decades, delighting with their dance skills, the richness of authentic costumes and a deep attachment to the national identity.
