About the event

After two spectacular years, Basia Małecka says goodbye to the project that opened her way on the Polish jazz scene. The autumn tour is the last opportunity to hear live the dazzling jazz arrangements of Osiecka's songs performed by her - before a new, long-awaited, fully original album will be released in the first half of 2027.

The debut “Agnieszka”, released independently — with Basia in the role of vocalist, art director, PR manager and project manager — filled the most important jazz clubs and concert halls in Poland for nearly two years. Basia performed at the Agnieszka Osiecka Studio in Trójka, at the National Museum in Warsaw and at the Dwa Teatry Festival, where the concert was recorded by TVP Kultura. He is preparing a real musical feast for his farewell — he will play a tour with a jazz octet for the first time. Far from the original, the nu-jazz version of Agnieszka Osiecka's songs performed by 25-year-old Basa Małecka combines soul groove and pipes, jazz harmonies and laid-back vocals. Basia strips Osiecka's work of acting drama and manners. He discovers unpopular and forgotten songs of outstanding Polish jazzmen. Thanks to Jacek Piskorz's arrangement for a jazz septet and a 20-piece orchestra, she draws the poet's iconic works into the world of neo-soul.

Basia Małecka — singer, composer and author of lyrics combining pop, soul and jazz. A graduate of the Academy of Theatre Arts in Cracow. An independent artist who looks after every aspect of her work. Author of the musical program “Studio B” in Trójka (Sunday, 16:00).

Her debut album “Agnieszka” (2024), recorded in collaboration with Jacek Piskorz, was a significant success — the singles from the album reached the 1st place on the Trójki Charts and were included on the cult composition of Marek Niedźwiecki. The film with music by Basa “Soap Opera” won the short film competition during this year's New Horizons. In 2026 Basia is working on the second album between Warsaw and London.
