Basia. I have my world | SENSORY-FRIENDLY CINEMA

With sensitive audiences in mind, the Gdynia Film Centre named after Leszek Kopcia invites you to the next installment of Sensory Friendly Cinema.

This time, in conditions adapted to the event, we will watch a set of selected episodes of “Basi”. After the screening, “Sensoryka na Wali” invites all parents and their children to workshops in the cinema hall, which will introduce you to the world of sensory development. The classes will be led by Kaja Muszarska — educator and therapist of people with autism spectrum. It will be creative and close-minded.

Basia. I have my world

Age: 4+

Basia is five years old, a strong character and an original outlook on the world. Her every day is filled with fun and striped humor. Together with his plush friend Miśek Zdziśk, he returns in a new version of the adaptation of the cult books of Zofia Stanecka and Marianna Oklejak!

Resolute Basia knows well what she wants. He also knows what he doesn't want. She could eat jelly beans even for breakfast, so whenever the opportunity arises, she is very happy to reach for sweets! A visit to the dentist, however, does not meet with the same enthusiasm of the heroine. Of course, it's not because she doesn't want to lead a healthy lifestyle! Basia loves to play outside, play football and is always eager to go on a trip with her family. Sitting still is definitely not for her!

It is a time of building closeness and creative play in parent-child pairs that engages all the senses and allows you to rediscover the world of shapes, noises and textures.

Such a design offers comfortable and accessible to everyone conditions for watching videos, especially for people with special needs, sensory sensitivity or other difficulties in processing external stimuli.
