Baske

Armed with indie pop and system criticism, BASKE bursts into VEGA

With a playfully easy approach, BASKE fuses honest narratives with insistent system criticism.

A musical universe that, on the sound side, is spun into pure indie pop well sound with stadium-sized choruses and lyrics about being young, caught between friendships and love, doubt and faith, rebellion and community.

BASKE has at the time of writing a handful of singles and two albums in the discography and within the last year, new notes have emerged. Most recently, the singles “STIG MØLLER”, “UNDER THE STARS” and “SÅK EN DAG” have been released. Of which “STIG MØLLER” caught GAFFA's attention. The music medium wrote:

“With the single” Stig Møller” Baske sends a loving and thoughtful tribute to a musical hero — and to ideals that still have relevance today.”

The duo, BASKE, consists of Aske Bramming and Sebastian Woll, who since elementary school have created a common artistic universe based on presence and a strong belief in ideals. BASKE has played support for both FABRÄK and Søn, and in its own name it has also turned into a completely sold out concert in Ideal Bar in 2023.

Now it is Little VEGA that will be the setting for the duo's return to VEGA on November 12.
