A Tale of 1001 Nights — Nove Moranki

On Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 12:00, we invite you to the first meeting of the new cultural season as part of the family cycle “Nove Poranki — Scena Familijna”!

The Kwatera Theater will perform on our stage, presenting a performance entitled “A Fairy Tale of 1001 Nights”. It will be an adventurous story inspired by the unusual world of oriental fairy tales. Small spectators will move to the mysterious village of Shalom, where among colorful stalls, palaces and oriental music await unusual heroes and secrets that can change the fate of the whole city.

In Shalom lives Cairo — a clever and good boy who dreams of great adventures. He is accompanied by the brave Amira, the daughter of the Sultan, and the Sultan himself, a funny, albeit stern ruler. When the mysterious Loretta arrives in the city with an unusual object, a series of unexpected events begins. Will the magic item bring good luck or trouble? Who will be able to be trusted? “Fairy Tale of 1001 Nights” is a humorous performance in an oriental atmosphere, with original music and interactions with the audience. This is an extraordinary theatrical journey that stimulates the imagination and shows the little ones the power of courage, friendship and a good heart.

The Kwatera Theater cooperates with an active child psychologist on the scripts of its performances. With its message, the fairy tale invites us to discover, name and consciously experience the feelings that lie dormant in each of us. In turn, he warns against hiding how we feel, showing what problems in communication this can lead to.

We will start the meeting with workshops, which we invite you to before the performance, from 11:30.

Ticket sales for the show will start on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 12:00 on line.
