On the back of two highly successful concerts of the world of musical theatre, the BBC Singers kick off their 2026/27 concerts at Milton Court with Chief Conductor Owain Park exploring the incredible repertoire of Academy and Grammy award winning composer Alan Menken. Alongside hit songs from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Little Shop of Horrors are a host of Broadway musical numbers that formed the inspiration to one of the greatest living composers of the 21st century.
Renowned for being one of the most versatile ensembles in the world, the BBC Singers deliver a full colour palette of Menken’s work, including a rare opportunity in the UK to hear a selection of songs from King David, the composer’s 1997 collaboration with Sir Tim Rice.
Produced by the BBC Singers.
