Beaks

With Raw Aesthetics and Poetic Nerve, Beaks Occupy Ideal Bar

Beaks is the solo project of Austrian musician and songwriter Anna Francesca, who has just released the first single “Hit Me Back” from her upcoming album ALDIE, which is due out on November 13.

Rooted in shoegaze, electronic music, rock and grunge, she creates a raw and dreamy sonic universe where poetic lyrics meet intense sound surfaces and move in the tension field between reality and dream.

The poetry is a central part of Beaks' musical expression. With a background in literature and a penchant for writing intuitively, her songs are often based on the words, after which the music is shaped around the text. The result is a mood-borne universe in which emotions, textures and atmospheres are as crucial as the individual melodies.

In 2023, she released her debut single “I Dropped the Bottle” that has garnered more than four million streams.

Since then, Beaks has performed in London, Tokyo and Berlin, cementing Beaks as a present and immersive performer across artistic formats.

On Thursday, February 4, 2027, you can experience Beaks at Ideal Bar, where her intense and atmospheric sonic universe unfolds live.
