ul. Gdańska 4, Bydgoszcz

We invite you to the author's meeting of Marek Łuszczyna, journalist, reporter and writer, specialist in difficult and controversial topics from Polish history. He will talk about his work on his latest book Bęarty Polski. The story of Jewish Nazi hunters. It reveals a forgotten chapter in our country's history — a time when victims became judges and executioners. It shows a post-war reality full of criminal chaos and grim paradoxes, in which no one could feel safe: the brutal crackdown on the underground, the mass displacement of the population, the struggle against the remnants of the Nazi troops, but also the suffering of the civilian population and the discovery of the truth about the horrific crimes they committed against their neighbors good people.
