Belle Morte is a music project from Minsk, currently operating in Poland, playing dark symphonic metal with gothic and progressive flair and melancholic atmosphere. The band's debut EP “Game On” was released in 2018.

In 2021, the band signed a contract with Italian label Wormholedeath for the release of a full-length concept album “Crime of Passion”, inspired by John Fowles' novel “The Collector”. The album tells a coherent story that begins with a morbid obsession and persecution and ends with a murder, shown from the perspective of both the killer and his victim.

The band's second album, “Pearl Hunting”, sets a bold new direction, reaching out to a wide range of ethnic instruments and musical traditions from around the world. The album features collaborations with musicians from 12 countries, and the arrangements include Ukrainian bandura, Japanese shamisen, Celtic bouzouki and Mongolian morin khuur, creating a rich fusion of symphonic metal and world music. Some of the songs explore the already familiar combinations of symphonic metal with folk influences, such as Nordic and Celtic sounds, while others push the boundaries towards more experimental, unobvious fusions, ranging from Armenian duk and Indonesian suling and gamelan.

At the heart of Belle Morte's work is the exploration of contrasts and dualisms. The band invites listeners to see the beauty in the disturbing things and the darkness in the seemingly beautiful. Through music, lyrics and a visual layer, Belle Morte encourages audiences to look deeper than the surface and find beauty where they don't expect it. Whether in the harsh landscapes of the Finnish tundra, the steppes of Mongolia, or the deserts of the Middle East, Belle Morte invites listeners on a journey through the shadows of human experience.

One glance is enough for you to know the truth of your destiny. Caladria (Latin Caladrius) is a mythical bird - a harbinger of despair or hope, indicating imminent death or taking over the suffering of the sick, leading to their recovery.

The band was formed in September 2019 in Warsaw. Their songs are a mixture of dark sounds with elements of classical music, charismatic female vocals and lyrical lyrics.

They have a lot of concerts to their credit, also in acoustic form, which were met with an extremely warm reception from the audience.

In September 2023, they released their debut album titled “Inhuman Land”.
