Berlin Tea Festival 2026: CLOSER TO TEA — Main Days

Two days of tea, teaware, crafts and meetings

On November 7+8, 2026, the international tea world will once again gather in silent green.

Under this year's motto CLOSER TO TEA, around 70 carefully selected exhibitors are coming together — around half of them for the first time at the Berlin Tea Festival (BTF). In addition to retailers and tea brands from Germany and Europe, even more tea producers travel directly from China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India and Malawi.

With the official BTF tasting bowl 2026, visitors can try and compare unlimited amounts of tea and talk directly to the people behind the tea. Around 55 program items in the cinema and studios complement the exhibition: Workshops, talks, tea ceremonies, tastings, seminars, hands-on formats and film screenings invite you to listen, participate, deepen and exchange ideas.

Ceramics, teaware and crafts are also part of the festival again: new works, unique pieces and small series by familiar ceramic artists participating for the first time meet an international audience.

For many, the BTF is now an annual reunion of the tea community — and at the same time a place for new discoveries and personal encounters. And at the beginning of November, the festival is also a great opportunity to find special Christmas gifts — from characterful teas to handmade pottery and teaware.

No previous knowledge required. Curiosity is enough.
