Berliner Philharmoniker ensemble wind chamber music by Beethoven, Schreck and Enescu
tickets
info
Whether with eight, nine or ten: Chamber wind music with a large cast is an experience — for the audience as well as for the musicians. A rare world of sound opens up, rich in instrumental colors, sometimes symphonic, sometimes intimate in chamber music. This applies equally to the festive octet in E flat major by Ludwig van Beethoven, whose death is the 200th anniversary of 2027, to Gustav Schreck's Romantic Nonet or George Enescu's complex décet. They all follow the tradition of entertaining entertainment and combine playful ease with depth.
