Berliner Philharmoniker Ensembleslet's Jazz — Bolero Berlin

tickets

info

Orchestra musicians only play classical music? Absolutely! In the Bolero Berlin ensemble, members of the Berliner Philharmoniker express their passion for jazz and Latin American music. Philharmonic sound culture meets the energy of jazz — that is what makes this formation so special. The concert is a journey through various worlds: from Antônio Carlos Jobim's casual bossa nova to Django Reinhardt's virtuoso Manouches jazz and Kurt Weill's dazzling Broadway sounds to the sophisticated jazz echoes of Maurice Ravel. Sambop and Brazilian jazz by Paulo Morello, the ensemble's guitarist, can also be experienced.
