info
The Berliner Philharmoniker Ensembles series dedicated to Beethoven is completed by two of the composer's most popular chamber music works: the “Gassenhauer Trio” with its artistic variations on a popular opera hit at the time and his septet in E flat major. Both works impress with their melodic ingenuity, joy of playing and refinement. Béla Bartók's contrasts for violin, clarinet and piano provide an exciting counterpoint, in which Hungarian dance rhythms, jazz elements and a modern musical language combine to create a highly virtuoso composition.
