info

Brilliant, clear and with a keen sense for sound nuances: Yuja Wang has established herself worldwide as an outstanding pianist through her playing and her charisma. In Béla Bartók's rhythmically energetic First Piano Concerto, she enters into an exciting dialogue with the orchestra — particularly with the percussion instruments. According to Yuja Wang, Bartók “created his very own world of sound.” The Serenade No. 1 by Johannes Brahms provides a delightful contrast: inspired by Viennese classical music, light in tone, dance-like in gesture and permeated by a cheerful, romantic natural atmosphere.
