Marek Janowski conducts Bruckner's Eighth
tickets
info
Marek Janowski once called Anton Bruckner a “Baroque Romanticist.” It is precisely this mixture that he makes sound convincing in his interpretations: He reveals the complex complexity of the music and at the same time allows its tonal colors to shine. Janowski has already performed several times with the Berliner Philharmoniker as a Bruckner performer. This season, he dedicates himself to the monumental Eighth Symphony — a work of tremendous waves of growth and far-reaching arcs of tension, characterized by the emotional shift between human doubt and trust in spiritual redemption.
