Bernd Stelter — Sonne im Herzen, Nonsense im Kopp!

In his new program “Sonne im Herzen, Nonsense im Kopp! “focuses on Bernd Stelter's musical side. For him, songs are little wonders: In just a few minutes, they can tell stories, capture moods and convey emotions — sometimes humorous, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes lively, sometimes melancholy.

Like other people, he writes his songs in a diary. They talk about what moves him: Was there sun in his heart? Or a bit of nonsense in your head? Perhaps both.

The song recital “Sonne im Herzen, Nonsense im Kopp! “combines all of this — a life in music, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes full of joie de vivre and then thoughtful again. And the end result is exactly what a good evening should leave behind: After two hours of laughing, dreaming, singing along and smiling, the audience goes home feeling warm.

Bernd Stelter has been one of the leading figures in the German entertainment scene for decades. For over 35 years, he has delighted his audience as a cabaret artist, musician, author and TV presenter — with an unmistakable mix of humor, music and soft, thoughtful nuances.

His artistic roots lie in the Rhenish Carnival, where his career began at the end of the 1980s. He later became known nationwide through radio and television formats, including as a long-time member of the cult program “7 Days, 7 Köpfe”. Bernd Stelter also enjoyed great success as an author: In addition to humorous non-fiction books, he published several novels, including his popular camping crime stories, and thus reached the Spiegel bestseller list.

The stage has been at the center of his artistic work for many years. With his solo programs, he successfully tours all over Germany — always with the aim of making his audience not only laugh but also think. Music plays a special role in this: As a singer and multi-instrumentalist, Bernd Stelter combines stories and songs to create very personal moments.
