Austrian guitarist and YouTube phenomenon Bernth is coming to the Pump House on February 18, 2027 with a line-up of some of the biggest profiles in modern guitar and bass playing

Bernth has built an international audience in just a few years through his combination of metal, instrumental music and online content. The Austrian guitarist began his career with extensive tours in Europe, the United States, Canada and Latin America with the extreme metal band Belphegor, before later becoming part of the Austrian hit band Seiler und Speer. Here he played guitar on several albums and singles, and in 2025 he helped make history when the band sold out the Ernst Happel Stadion in Vienna in front of 50,000 people.

In parallel, Bernth's YouTube channel grew explosively. Since launching in 2018, he has built a global audience with his distinctive playing style and videos that have made him one of the world's biggest guitar profiles online. He received YouTube's Gold Creator Award in 2023 and in 2021 became the highest-earning music creator on Patreon globally. His work ranges from guest solos with Tool in a sold-out O2 Arena in Prague to music for the final season of Cobra Kai on Netflix.

As a solo artist, Bernth got his breakthrough with the instrumental number Farewell, which topped the US iTunes chart for instrumental music. The subsequent Escape the Internet tours have taken him through Europe, the United States, China, South Korea and Australia with sold-out shows and collaborations on stage with Charles Berthoud and Ola Englund, both of whom are part of the lineup at Pumpehuset.

Tonight's programme brings together four of the biggest profiles from the modern guitar and bass scene. Mike Dawes is known for his advanced solo arrangements on acoustic guitar and has twice been named “Best Acoustic Guitarist in the World”. Charles Berthoud has built an audience of over three million followers with his virtuosic bass playing and genre-blending compositions, while Swedish Ola Englund is both known as guitarist of The Haunted, founder of Solar Guitars and one of the most viewed personalities in the metal community online.

On February 18, Pumpehuset will be the setting for a rare meeting between four musicians, each of whom has helped shape the modern guitar scene. An evening of technical excess, instrumental shows and millions of online fans gathered on one stage awaits.
