The heroines of the play “You teach us how dresses are raised”, despite being deprived of their personnel, deprived of their names and surnames, are full of a variety of feelings and emotions. From love, sexual desires to rage and betrayal. In the songs bravely performed by the actresses and actors of the Krakow scenes, there are echoes of past decades, turbulent history and politics affecting the everyday life of an ordinary bread eater. Styling and costumes inspired by post-war burlesque, transfer to the atmosphere of the last century. Four women rule the stage — they share a lot, but they share even more. With a common voice, they paint a timeless portrait of femininity — full of contradictions, strength and sensitivity. It is a musical journey into the past that asks questions about our present. Is the world we live in really different from what it used to be? Or is the hope of change still smoldering in the same melody of life?
